We gathered
we were open
Purified our hearts and
led by the spirit.
Time might say we are strangers
but, I’ll say we are exactly like what we were praying for; family.
Obeying the command of God to pray for the lost
We committed to one another, for the sake of our kin
we come from close-knit families to broken
homes…
I prayed for those who wait for the day, they can “kill the fattened calf”(Luke 15:23) for that ‘lost to the world’ sibling; lost and stumbling– return them
home
Lord, show them the Way. Let us celebrate! For when the lost have returned
Home.
God spoke to us, with knowledge from Isaiah,
let us do as it is written, (Isaiah 58:6)”I will tell you the kind of day I want–a day to set people free.
I want a day that you take burdens off others. (Isaiah 58:7) I want you to share your food with the hungry. I want you to find the poor who don’t have
Homes
and bring them into your own
Homes.
Dont hide from your relatives when they need help.”
Oh how I feel loved, encouraged and honored to be
“home”
with this family.
I pray this day will help me reconnect, love and add to a
Home
of such Foundation
I hope I never forget this day, the Power, the reality of all this life is.
